I looked back on my life and yes clearly at an age of 23 years it seems a little early for that. I am not seriously ill and will not die soon. I am only a 23 year old guy, that noticed that many people at some point simply develop an indifference for pretty much everything. Since it’s completely incomprehensible to me, I just thought about what it could be, that the interest to discover or learn something new disappears. From the beginning of your life consists of discoveries and things you learn. Look at babies, they are initially only carried around or pushed around in a pram. But at some point they discover that they can also move oneself and start crawling, and a little while later they learn how to walk. They learn something new every day and become more and more curious. As soon as they can walk, nothing is safe from them anymore. They open every drawer, search the whole house and when they get outside, there’s so much more to discover. But at some point you lose this curiosity! But we deserve this curiosity so much. If you think about it that we`ve never so much advanced technology. The early humans would not have discovered the fire without their curiosity and possibly some luck. We owe so much to such people, e.g. Thomas Edison, who invented the light bulb or Henry Ford, who brings the car to the masses. Also our Smartphones, if you consider that you could have moved the first computer only with a truck and today a device with a 1000 times the performance fits in our trouser pocket. If the world were just made up of no-sayers and people who are not interested in looking outside the box. Would we still be starving and freezing in our caves if we would have been so far.
